The only existing film images of Anne Frank have been loaded on to YouTube by Amsterdam museum the Anne Frank House.

The footage, from 1941, is the only time Anne has been captured on film. The 20-second footage uploaded to the museum’s recently launched Anne Frank Channel shows Anne’s neighbour on her wedding day. A 13-year-old Anne is seen nine seconds into the video, leaning out of a second-floor window to get a better look at the bride and groom. At the time of the wedding the bride-to-be lived at No 37 Merwedeplein, next door to the Franks at No 39.

The scene was filmed on 22 July 1941, just under a year before the Frank family went into hiding above the family business. (via)

“A group of DJs from London and the Midlands were arrested and their homes raided on Wednesday over a suspected music royalties scam which is the first of its kind dealt with by Metropolitan police detectives. They are alleged to have placed their own music on iTunes, the Apple music store, and Amazon, and used stolen credit card details to buy it. It is claimed they generated about £450,000 in download sales with stolen card details - even catching the eye of music industry chiefs as a new emerging talent.”

The Jesusita Fire in Santa Barbara, CA last week caused these two to take shelter together. The fawn is 3 days old and the bobcat about 3 weeks. The fawn came from somewhere in the fire and the bobcat from Carpentaria. They immediately bonded and snuggled together under a desk in the Santa Barbara County Dispatch Office for several hours.
